Vinyasa Yoga

In this all-levels class, you will move slowly and meditatively between poses following the breath. Focus will be on breath and alignment, breaking down poses and offering props to allow each student to find the right version of a pose for their body. Slow Vinyasa is designed to create softness in your body, relieve unwanted tension, and stress, inviting a deeper understanding of mind-body-spirit connection while improving flexibility, muscle tone and circulation.

​Slow Flow & Restore w/ Rachel

Starts with a meditative slower-paced flow and will end with relaxing passive, floor and supine restorative postures. The restorative postures are held for three to five minutes, relaxing you into the shape and ultimately lengthening deep connective tissue. Restorative postures combined with mindful breath work will help to reclaim your inner energy and tap back into a deeper connectedness for mind, body, and spirit.

Power Yoga w/ Rachel

Power Yoga is an energetic, a vinyasa class that focuses on the connection of breath and movement. You will elongate the muscles, build strength, and work balance. There will be variations of core work mixed with traditional yoga postures. Be prepared to work to your edge while you enjoy a fun flowing practice. You will leave feeling refreshed and invigorated! Modifications and rest breaks will be offered. This class is recommended for students with intermediate to advanced yoga experience.

$10-$20 sliding scale donation

It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to four hours of conventional sleep. It offers balance and healing in the body and mind, and you can expect to leave feeling restored and rejuvenated.
Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down, so feel free to bring any pillows or blankets that will allow you to become fully relaxed. Regular yoga props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets will be available as well. A yoga mat is also recommended.

Tune into your body mind connection meeting yourself and accepting your body just as it is. We will work to deepen our practice by moving between postures slowly and holding postures longer to increase strength and flexibility. Class will also include guided meditation and Pranayama (yogic breathing techniques that support multiple aspects of physical health including lung function, lowering blood pressure, strengthening the immune system and brain function).

Pronounced “cheen na”, qinna is a subsystem of kung fu that emphasizes controlling an opponent using joint locks. There are no punches or kicks in qinna. It relies on technique rather than strength making it ideal for women and persons of smaller build.

Wear comfortable clothing.

Taiqi (formerly spelled “tai chi”) is a Chinese martial art developed over two hundred years ago. Practiced slowly, it has graceful, flowing movements that, when taught properly, can increase health, balance, and general well-being. At advanced levels exercises such as push-hands are introduced.   Wear comfortable clothing.
